Royal Princess Adds Sanctuary Collection, Irish Pub During Dry Dock
Princess Cruises‘ Royal Princess has emerged from a two-week dry dock in Singapore with a number of enhancements, including the addition of the Sanctuary Collection and O’Malley’s Irish Pub, as well as an expanded Bellini’s cocktail bar.

Sanctuary Collection
As part of the recently-announced expansion to five of the Royal class ships, Royal Princess now features the premium, inclusive Sanctuary Collection. Those who book into the Sanctuary have access to the Sanctuary Club, as well as a variety of elevated amenities and perks that are included in the cruise fare.
New for Royal Princess, newly-constructed oceanview staterooms can be reserved as part of the Sanctuary Collection, along with suites, mini-suites, deluxe balcony, and balcony staterooms. The ship also now has an exclusive Sanctuary Restaurant on deck 6, adjacent to the Concerto Dining Room.
A Refreshed Piazza
At the heart of Royal Princess is the Piazza atrium, which received a refresh with two enhanced venues.
O’Malley’s Irish Pub has taken over the former Vines location on deck 5. The welcoming pub pairs Irish-inspired food and favorite beverages with a lively, cheerful atmosphere.

Nearby, Bellini’s has expanded into the former Photo Gallery space, creating a larger setting overlooking the atrium. There, passengers can enjoy signature Belllini-inspired cocktails, champagne, sparkling wines, and other specialty beverages.
Staterooms
As part of the dry dock, 20 guest cabins were also added to Royal Princess: six mini-suites, seven oceanviews, two interiors, and five single interiors.
Casino & Shops
The Princess Casino has been reconfigured to create a more open environment and additional space for slot machines. As part of the redesign, the staircase connecting decks 6 and 7 was removed, allowing the casino floor to be expanded.
The renovation also saw a refreshed Effy jewelry boutique, as well as a transition for The Shops of Princess to new onboard retail partner Starboard.
A Season Down Under
Following the dry dock, which took place from October 16-30, Royal Princess is headed Down Under for a season of cruising from Sydney, Australia.
It’s one of three ships sailing in the region for the season, which includes 42 unique itineraries and 62 departures.
