Known as “Mr. Ocean Liner,” Miller is a leading American maritime historian and author, with 125+ books and 1,000 articles on ocean liners and cruise ships. He created the passenger ship database for the Ellis Island Museum and taught “The Ocean Liner” at the New School in Manhattan. Miller has lectured aboard 75+ cruise ships, and appeared in many documentaries.
