Oceania Cruises Expands Inclusions Across All Voyages
Starting September 17, 2025, Oceania Cruises inclusions will expand to cover wine and beer with meals or a shore excursion credit. The update applies across all Oceania sailings and stateroom categories, making the program more comprehensive than before.
This or That
Passengers may opt for a shore excursion credit of up to $600 per person, depending on voyage length. The credit applies to more than 8,000 small-group tours worldwide. Options include cultural visits in Asia, wildlife experiences in Alaska, and scenic explorations in Europe.
Alternatively, travelers can choose complimentary wine and beer by the glass during lunch and dinner. The selection includes sparkling and rosé wines, classic reds and whites, and international beers.

From Extras to Included
For many years, alcohol and excursions were extras. Passengers could purchase them à la carte or through beverage packages such as House Select and Prestige Select. In 2023, the line introduced its simply MORE™ value promise, which paired shore excursion credits with wine, beer, and vintage champagnes at meals. That program was positioned as promotional in nature.
The latest update moves these benefits into Oceania’s core program, making them available with every booking going forward.
Existing Inclusions Remain
The two new options join the broader list of Oceania Cruises inclusions. These cover specialty dining, unlimited Starlink Wi-Fi, gratuities, in-room dining, premium coffee and tea, Vero still and sparkling water, smoothies and juices, laundry service, group fitness classes, and ice cream.
Sailing With the Pack
By adding wine, beer, and excursion credits to its inclusions, Oceania moves closer to competitors such as Viking and Azamara. Both already feature wine and beer with meals as standard. The change brings Oceania in line with a broader luxury cruise trend toward more comprehensive fares.
