Princess Cruises Details Its Biggest European Season in 2028
Princess Cruises has revealed details on its biggest-ever European season in 2028, which will include 150 unique itineraries across six ships.
Season Overview & Highlights
The 2028 Europe season will include seven to 53-day sailings, visiting 128 destinations in 37 countries. Voyages will take place out of 13 departure ports aboard the following ships: Caribbean, Enchanted, Majestic, Regal, Sky, and Sun Princess.
New calls for Princess will include Galway and Killybegs, Ireland, as well as the line’s first Pole-to-Pole Odyssey voyage linking Antarctica and the Arctic. The season will also include access to 101 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Elevated Excursions
Princess Cruises says that its Europe sailings go beyond traditional sightseeing, and that guests are able to experience more authentic cultural immersion through its “Local Connections” and elevated “Ultimate” excursions. Designed with regional experts, these experiences allow passengers to engage directly with local people, traditions, and cuisine.
Highlighted experiences include pasta-making with an Italian family, artisan workshops at Royal Delft in the Netherlands, learning about Indigenous Sami traditions in Norway, and guided access to landmarks such as Mont Saint-Michel and ancient Athens.
Late-Night and Overnight Calls
The 2028 season will include 32 late-night and overnight stays in key ports, allowing visitors to linger in port longer and experience a taste of the local nightlife.
In northern Europe, late-night and overnight stays will be offered in destinations including Stockholm, Hamburg, Tromsø, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Belfast, and Reykjavik. The Mediterranean will also offer a strong lineup of longer visits in places including Istanbul, Ibiza, Mykonos, Valletta, Lisbon, Split, and La Spezia (the port for Florence and Pisa).
Transatlantic Cruises
Transatlantic cruises will also be offered as part of the 2028 Europe season, allowing passengers to slowly make their way across the Atlantic aboard a cruise ship. Connecting both South America and North America to Europe, guests enjoy a number of sea days in a row combined with ports including the Canary Islands, Madeira, the Azores, Bermuda, and Morocco.
