Carnival Cruise Line Opens Bookings For 2028-29 West Coast Voyages

Carnival Cruise Line has opened bookings for its west coast deployment in 2028 and 2029, featuring cruises to Alaska, Hawaii, and Mexico aboard Carnival Adventure, Carnival Legend, and Carnival Spirit.

Longer Sailings

The new deployment features several longer Carnival Journeys voyages. These special sailings visit some of the most popular destinations, while also offering unique onboard experiences that you won’t find on standard Carnival cruises.

Carnival Adventure will offer a nine-night Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise departing from Seattle on September 12, 2028, followed by a 16-night Carnival Journeys Hawaii voyage departing September 21.

Carnival Legend will operate a 13-night Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise departing April 28, 2028 and a 15-day Carnival Journeys Hawaii cruise departing September 14.

Carnival Spirit will sail a 16-night Carnival Journeys Panama Canal cruise departing Tampa on April 16, 2028, a nine-night Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise departing from Seattle on September 14, and 11 Carnival Journeys Hawaii sailings.

Carnival Adventure Heads to Alaska

Relocating seasonally from Australia, Carnival Adventure will sail from Seattle from May through September 2028. The ship will offer 18 seven-night Alaska Inside Passage & Glacier cruises departing between May 9 and September 5, 2028. Itineraries include visits to Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway, along with scenic cruising in Endicott Arm Fjord and a call to Victoria, BC.

Carnival Legend Returns to Alaska

Carnival Legend will offer a varied schedule from San Francisco, including 10 four-day Baja Mexico cruises departing between April and August 2028 with visits to Ensenada.

The ship will also operate nine 10-day Alaska sailings from May 15 through September 4, 2028. These itineraries visit Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan (Ward Cove), and Prince Rupert, as well as scenic cruising through Endicott Arm Fjord.

Carnival Spirit’s Varied Schedule

Carnival Spirit will begin its West Coast season with the Carnival Journeys Panama Canal sailing from Tampa. The ship will then operate 18 seven-night Alaska cruises from Seattle between May 11 and September 7, featuring visits to Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, and Victoria, with scenic cruising in Endicott Arm Fjord. The ship will also offer select longer Alaska itineraries.

Following its Alaska season, Carnival Spirit will reposition to Long Beach in October, operating a variety of cruises to Hawaii and Mexico through spring 2029.
