Celebrity Xcel has arrived in South Florida and is now sailing weeklong Caribbean itineraries from Port Everglades. The ship is the fifth in Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Series and introduces seven new experiences shaped by travelers.

Celebrity Xcel was developed with help from the Xcel Dream Makers program. Participants offered feedback on dining, entertainment, and design. Leaders at Celebrity Cruises say the ship reflects a new standard for the brand.

The Bazaar is a new three-level space with dining, markets, festivals, and entertainment. The area blends onboard and destination themes in a relaxed style. Bora, a rooftop restaurant, offers a lively brunch and a more intimate dinner.

The ship features an expanded Pool Club with extra shade and a pool valet. Passengers can reserve VIP cabanas for added comfort. A new spa includes the first Hydra Room and an outdoor Vitamin D Deck.

Entertainment also expands on Celebrity Xcel. The ship features three new Theatre shows, two interactive Club shows, and daily live music. New dance parties and activities run throughout the day.

Celebrity Xcel includes the first Celebrity Flagship retail space. Passengers can browse exhibits and shop customizable merchandise. A 24-hour neon-lit lounge called Attic at The Club offers arcade games and tabletop favorites.

Celebrity Xcel will operate alternating Caribbean routes this winter. Calls include The Bahamas, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten. The ship will move to Europe in summer 2026 with sailings from Barcelona and Athens.
