Explora Details Dining & Wellness on Explora II’s Winter Med Season
Explora Journeys has revealed details on the food and beverage, wellness, and enrichment experiences for passengers during the winter 2026-2027 season aboard Explora II. The winter program, called A Serene Mediterranean, will focus on “discovery, reflection and renewal” as the ship sails during the region’s quieter months.
Seasonal Cuisine & Shore-to-Table Experiences
Passengers aboard Explora II can discover the Mediterranean’s rich food culture through experiences that bring them closer to local producers, markets, and traditions.
Each shore-to-table experience will begin ashore with a guided market visit alongside an Explora Journeys chef, followed by an interactive masterclass in the Chef’s Kitchen onboard. These experiences will reveal not only how regional dishes are prepared, but also the stories, traditions, and craftsmanship behind them.
As well, across the Explora Journeys fleet during the Mediterranean truffle harvest from October to November, passengers can enjoy a different Piedmont truffle creation each day. The special dishes will be finished tableside with freshly-shaved truffle as well as Piedmont wine pairings.

Complimentary Wellness Experiences
This winter, Ocean Wellness on Explora II will invite guests to embrace the rhythm of the sea through movement, breathwork, meditation, and sound-led experiences. At the heart of the season will be A Path to Inner Discovery, a complimentary 12-day Ocean Wellness program available to all guests on the Barcelona to Lisbon voyage from February 11-23, 2027. It will include yoga, journaling, gong baths, electronic music meditation, and sunrise, sunset, and moonlit practices.
Expert-led workshops on topics like neuroscience, holistic well-being, nutrition, natural movement, and more will also be offered during the winter season.
Cultural Enrichment
A program of internationally-acclaimed speakers, performers, and experts will extend the destination experience to the ship. They’ll be involved in intimate conversations, performances, and interactive sessions. Highlights will include Nelson Mandela’s closest personal aide Zelda La Grange, acclaimed pianist Maxim Lando, and psychologist and neuroscientist Dr. Helena Boschi.
