MSC Cruises Named Title Sponsor of Three 2027 F1 Races

MSC Cruises continues its partnership with Formula 1 racing, as it has announced it will be the title sponsor of three FIA Formula One World Championship Grand Prix races in 2027. It will be title sponsor of the Grand Prix in Belgium, Turkey, and Portugal.

Belgium

Held from July 23-25, the MSC Cruises Belgian Grand Prix 2027 will bring the thrill of F1 to the forests of the Belgian Ardennes. The circuit de Spa-Francorchamps track spans 4.35 miles and is one of the longest, most demanding tracks on the Formula 1 calendar.

Turkey

The Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix is making a comeback to the F1 schedule from October 1-3, in a new five-year deal that starts in 2027. Istanbul Park, which is about 28 miles away from Istanbul, first welcomed F1 in 2005. Its iconic couterclockwise circuit spans 3.3 miles has hosted nine Grands Prix in total, pushing drivers and cars to their limits.

Portugal

Taking place from June 18-20, the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Grande Prêmio de Portugal 2027 sees the return of F1 to Portugal after a brief hiatus. The circut, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, located in the picturesque Algarve region, is known for its technical challenges and dramatic elevation changes, making it a key venue for the sport.

2027 will be the second consecutive year that MSC Cruises serves as title sponsor of three races during the Formula 1 season. The global partnership was first announced in 2022, and will extend through to 2030. Throughout next year’s season, branding from both MSC Cruises and its sister line Explora Journeys will be featured across a selection of Grand Prix races.

This year, MSC was title sponsor of the MSC Cruises Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix in Spain, the Formula 1 MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix in Texas, and the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Grande Prêmio de São Paulo in Brazil.
