MSC World Asia to Feature 13,000+ Square Foot Spa, 12 Thermal Experiences
MSC Cruises has revealed details on the spa and wellness program that will be featured aboard its third World-class ship, MSC World Asia. Many parts of the ship will include design elements reflecting Asia’s culture, art, and landscapes, which will also be found in the 13,000+ spare foot MSC Aurea Spa.

MSC World Asia will introduce a collection of advanced wellness therapies designed to support relaxation, recovery, and well-being. Treatments include:
- Dry Float Therapy by Starpool, which relieves muscular tension and promotes deep relaxation without getting wet
- Whole-Body Cryotherapy, supporting muscle recovery, circulation and reduced inflammation
- Iyashi Dôme Infrared Therapy, inspired by Japanese wellness traditions to encourage natural detoxification and relaxation
- LPG Endermologie, an advanced treatment that stimulates collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production while helping smooth and firm the skin
Passengers can also maintain their fitness routine even while at sea in the MSC Gym. The fitness center features state-of-the-art equipment by Technogym, functional training spaces, immersive group classes, and personalized coaching.
The spa on MSC World Asia will also include, of course, a thermal area with 12 different wellness experiences through the restorative benefits of heat, cold, water, and relaxation. Features include a panoramic seaview sauna, a snow room, aromatic steam rooms, Finnish and bio saunas, a Himalayan salt room, Japanese-inspired ganbanyoku beds, experiential showers, whirlpools, and relaxation lounges.

“Wellness has become an increasingly important part of the travel experience, and our ambition with MSC World Asia was to create a spa that rivals the finest wellness destinations on land,” said Georg Schmickler, Senior VP of Onboard Revenues at MSC Cruises. “By combining beautifully designed spaces, innovative therapies, advanced technologies and personalised experiences, we’ve created our most comprehensive wellness offering to date. Every aspect of the MSC Aurea Spa has been thoughtfully designed to help guests relax, recharge and leave feeling their very best.”
MSC World Asia is scheduled to begin sailing this December, offering seven-night voyages in the Mediterranean.
