Cunard Unveils New Caribbean Excursions for Queen Elizabeth

Cunard has unveiled a new collection of Caribbean shore excursions as part of its upcoming Queen Elizabeth Caribbean cruises, launching from Miami in October 2025. The Caribbean Iconic Collection will feature 32 curated experiences across 12 destinations, focused on culture, cuisine, and nature.
New Shore Excursions Focus on Culture and Adventure
Developed with local experts, the excursions will be available on itineraries beginning October 16 and will include destinations such as Antigua, Barbados, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. Each experience is tailored to highlight regional cuisine, nature, and heritage.
Highlights of the collection include a private catamaran cruise in Antigua with sushi and barbecue prepared by a Michelin-starred chef, a 4×4 off-road and picnic experience in Barbados, or a hands-on Dominican coffee-making session. For more thrilling destination immersions, passengers can helicopter to a beach retreat in Barbuda, or hike Puerto Rico’s El Yunque Rainforest.
According to Cunard, the new offerings aim to enhance the overall guest experience by going beyond traditional port tours and delivering deeper cultural connections.
Refurbishment Prepares Ship for Warm-Weather Cruising
In preparation for the season, Queen Elizabeth underwent a three-week dry dock in March 2025 at Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore. The refurbishment included updated décor and furnishings in key guest areas such as the Queens Room, Commodore Club, and Grills Terrace.

Dining updates include the launch of The Pavilion Wellness Café, offering plant-forward meals throughout the day, and the addition of over 25 new vegan and vegetarian dishes in the Britannia Restaurant. These menus, developed with chef Paul Gayler MBE, reflect plant-based traditions from global regions.
Caribbean Season Itineraries
Queen Elizabeth’s Caribbean cruise season from Miami will run through early 2026. The inaugural voyage, departing October 16, is a 12-night, round-trip itinerary with visits to St. Lucia and Barbados. Itineraries range from 9 to 28 nights.
Cunard will also mark its 185th anniversary with a commemorative sailing aboard Queen Elizabeth on December 9, 2025 voyage. Maritime historian Bill Miller is scheduled to appear as a guest speaker during the voyage, offering historical context on Cunard’s legacy and passenger shipping history.
The Caribbean season deployment is part of Cunard’s broader strategy to grow its presence in North America and meet increased demand for culturally rich, wellness-focused cruise experiences.
