Silversea Launches Luxury Golf Voyages With PerryGolf
Silversea is adding golf-focused sailings to its lineup through a new partnership with golf travel specialist PerryGolf.
Beginning in 2027, PerryGolf will operate dedicated golf programs on select Silversea voyages in the British Isles, the Mediterranean, and Australia and New Zealand. According to Silversea, the programs combine the cruise line’s all-inclusive voyages with organized golf experiences that include access to well-known courses and golf-related services throughout each sailing.
Founded in 1984, PerryGolf specializes in international golf travel and has operated golf cruises since 1997. Under the new partnership, the company will oversee the golf program while Silversea provides the cruise experience.
The initial collection includes voyages aboard Silver Spirit, Silver Ray, and Silver Moon. PerryGolf has also outlined additional departures across the Silversea fleet in 2028, expanding the partnership to destinations including the Iberian Peninsula, the Baltic, Japan, and the Mediterranean.

Some of Golf’s Biggest Names Are on the Itinerary
The initial collection includes courses with championship histories, future major events, and international recognition. According to Silversea and PerryGolf, the itineraries include an Open Championship venue, a future Ryder Cup host, and courses that regularly appear in global course rankings.
Royal Liverpool Golf Club is featured on a British Isles voyage aboard Silver Spirit. Founded in 1869, the English links course has hosted The Open Championship 13 times, including the 2023 championship. PerryGolf says the 11-night sailing includes five rounds of golf. The itinerary also includes Prince’s Golf Club in England, Portstewart Golf Club in Northern Ireland, Castle Stuart at Cabot Highlands, and Dumbarnie Links in Scotland.
A Mediterranean program aboard Silver Ray includes Camiral Golf & Wellness in Spain. Formerly known as PGA Catalunya, the Stadium Course is scheduled to host the 2031 Ryder Cup. According to PerryGolf, the nine-night roundtrip voyage from Barcelona includes four rounds of golf. Golfers will also play Las Colinas Golf & Country Club on Spain’s Costa Blanca, along with Son Gual and Club de Golf Alcanada on Mallorca.

An Australia and New Zealand itinerary aboard Silver Moon features Cape Kidnappers on New Zealand’s North Island. Designed by golf course architect Tom Doak, the course overlooks Hawke Bay and regularly appears in global Top 100 course rankings. PerryGolf says the voyage sails from Sydney to Auckland, and includes Kauri Cliffs, Royal Wellington Golf Club, and courses in Tasmania.
Beyond the Tee
According to the company, the golf package includes equipment handling, guaranteed tee times, green fees, arranged pairings, and transportation between the ship and each course. Cart or caddie fees are included where applicable, along with range balls when available. Lunch is provided on golf days, while clubhouse refreshments and golf-related gratuities are also included. Caddie gratuities are not included.
PerryGolf also provides a cruise host throughout each sailing. The company says the program includes welcome and farewell cocktail receptions, social gatherings, and a casual tournament with awards presented during the voyage. Golf equipment is transported to each course before play and returned afterward, with PerryGolf managing the clubs throughout the voyage.
The company says golf is typically scheduled on about half of the available port days. PerryGolf also says non-golfing companions are welcome on every sailing and do not have to accompany golfers for play.
According to PerryGolf, the company launched its first golf cruises with Azamara in 2011. Last month, Azamara announced that Premier Golf will become its exclusive golf partner beginning in 2028.
