Holland America to Offer New Cake, Cocktails During 2026 Festive Season
It’s almost time to deck the halls with boughs of holly.. er.. at least with faux Christmas trees and gingerbread villages! Holland America has revealed details on its offerings for the 2026 holiday season, encompassing Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Year’s.
Festive Decor
Whether you’re exploring the tropical Caribbean, sailing past glaciers in Antarctica, or enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Australia, Holland America will create a warm holiday atmosphere with seasonal décor throughout the ship, tree lighting ceremonies, and other special programming.
Entertainment will include Christmas carol singing, holiday movies, crew performances, and other family-friendly activities. A New Year’s Eve celebration will bring in 2027 with parties throughout the ships and a champagne toast.

Tasty Feasts and Treats
Holiday traditions come to the table with seasonal food and beverage offerings, which marry familiar favorites and global flavors. Passengers can gather for Thanksgiving dinner, start Christmas with Breakfast with Santa, enjoy the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, and savor Nutcracker Tea.
Holiday menu items will include things like latkes, turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and eggnog. Destination-inspired holiday flavors from around the world also give travelers the opportunity to discover new tastes alongside the classics.
New for 2026 is a seasonal Magnolia Gingerbread Cake available in the main dining room, created as part of Holland America’s partnership with Magnolia Bakery.
Of course, the holiday spirit also extends to beverages, with seasonal creations including:
- Christmas Cocoamint Coffee
- Vanilla Gingerbread Latte
- Eggnog Latte
- De Lijn Ginger Mojito
- Rudolph the Red Margarita
- Minty Elf Martini

Gingerbread Villages
A Holland America holiday cruise wouldn’t be complete without gingerbread! Across the fleet, culinary teams turn the classic holiday treat into elaborate village displays. Each ship creates its own unique village, which culinary teams spend hours planning, baking, and assembling.
