Celebrity Cruises just dropped fresh details on what’s coming to its newest ship, Celebrity Xcel, and let’s just say, this isn’t your average sea day lineup. From a revamped pool deck to a glowing retro arcade and a spa experience built for next-level relaxation, these four new venues are all about turning the journey itself into the main event.
1. The Pool Club, Reimagined
Welcome to your new sun-soaked home base. The Celebrity Pool Club is getting a glow-up with added shade, a modern rooftop design, and a full-on pool valet delivering chilled towels, card games, and even sunscreen. Want to level up? Grab a private cabana with dedicated service and soak the day away.
On the final sea day of each Caribbean sailing, the Pool Club transforms into the Poolest Day Ever, a full-day bash with Caribbean music, DJ sets, games, pop-up performances, and custom cocktails like Palomas in mini Patrón bottles or coconuts with a splash of rum. When night hits, it evolves again for Shine the Night, a poolside party with upscale bites and breezy cocktails.
2. Attic at The Club: Neon, Nostalgia, and Night Owls
The new Attic at The Club is a 24/7 retro arcade lounge just for adults, lit up in neon and filled with throwback games like Pac-Man, NBA Showtime, and Golden Tee. Shuffleboard, pool, darts, and foosball round out the fun, while a private event space lets guests host karaoke nights or challenge friends in golf simulators.
3. The Spa Expands: New Ways to Reboot
Celebrity Xcel’s spa is now the line’s biggest, and its crown jewel is the new Hydra Room in the Thermal Suite, a bubbling, jet-powered oasis designed to melt away tension with heated loungers and a calming atmosphere. Just outside, the Vitamin D Deck offers sunny oceanfront views, shaded seating, and non-alcoholic refreshments for that perfect post-treatment reset.
The spa menu spans over 120 treatments, now with an upgraded salon and a skin care boutique where guests can try products before buying. A “Skin Lab” even delivers personalized, science-backed recommendations to help you keep that cruise glow going long after disembarkation.
4. Celebrity Flagship: Part Store, Part Story
The Celebrity Flagship store isn’t just for shopping—it’s an onboard brand museum. Guests can explore Celebrity Cruises history through vintage artifacts, trivia screens, and interactive displays, then customize souvenirs like cocktail kits, water bottles, robes, or caps. Some merch is exclusive to Celebrity Xcel, so it’s a good spot to snag a one-of-a-kind memento.
These four venues are part of seven new spaces coming to Celebrity Xcel, which also includes the open-air Mediterranean eatery Bora, a fresh concept market called The Bazaar, and the most expansive entertainment lineup in the brand’s history.

Ready to Sail?
Celebrity Xcel debuts this November from Fort Lauderdale, offering 7-night sailings across the Bahamas, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Then in summer 2026, she’ll head to Europe with 7- to 11-night cruises from Barcelona and Athens, including overnight stays in Madeira, Portugal.
