Crystal Unveils Its 2026 Wellness at Sea Retreat Voyages Aboard Crystal Symphony
In August 2026, Crystal will once again merge luxury travel with mindful living as it launches its third annual Wellness at Sea® retreat voyages aboard Crystal Symphony. Designed to celebrate balance, vitality, and tranquility during National Wellness Month, these special sailings invite guests to embark on a holistic journey that nourishes both body and mind across the Pacific.

The two itineraries offer the flexibility to sail individually or back-to-back for a continuous wellness experience. The first voyage runs August 17–24, 2026, from Vancouver to San Diego, followed by a second sailing August 24–September 5, 2026, from San Diego to Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Aboard a Floating Sanctuary
At the heart of the Wellness at Sea program is Dalila Roglieri, Crystal’s Wellness Ambassador and a registered nutritionist who has helped shape the retreat’s philosophy since its inception. She’ll be joined by an expert team, including yoga and mental well-being specialist Jenni Demus, fitness and yoga instructor Mandi Appelberg, cold exposure and somatic therapy expert Magnus Appelberg, and guest chef Abbie Gellman, a nationally recognized culinary nutritionist. Together, they create a seamless blend of movement, mindfulness, and nourishment that defines the Crystal experience.
Guests can expect immersive daily sessions in yoga, meditation, functional training, sound baths, and breathwork. Programs such as Wake Me Up Breath and Master Your Mind are designed to reset the nervous system and promote inner calm. A two-day detox at sea encourages guests to disconnect digitally and focus on deep restoration—a reminder of how powerful stillness can be.
Wellness Through Cuisine
Culinary wellness remains a core part of the retreat’s identity. Under Roglieri’s guidance, Crystal’s culinary team will present plant-forward dishes that emphasize both nutrition and indulgence. Guests will enjoy everything from fresh smoothies and nourishing toasts to creative entrées and desserts crafted to fuel energy without compromise.
Hands-on workshops and blind tastings led by Gellman and Roglieri bring an educational edge to the dining experience, offering insights into longevity, balance, and the art of mindful eating. Crystal’s innovative approach to wellness cuisine recently earned recognition in the Women’s Health 2025 Travel Awards for Best Healthy Food, reinforcing the brand’s leadership in holistic travel experiences.
The Science of Longevity
Beyond physical wellness, the retreat also explores emotional and cognitive health through a series of lectures on longevity science. Topics include aging well, maintaining mental clarity, and understanding how emotions can influence heart and overall health. It’s a thoughtful addition that elevates the voyage from a spa-at-sea experience to a comprehensive wellness immersion.
Movement, Connection, and Play
To round out the wellness experience, guests can also join in pickleball instruction led by onboard coaches. Whether you’re new to the sport or seasoned on the court, it offers a social, energizing way to stay active while connecting with fellow travelers.
“These voyages represent wellness at its most complete, where every sunrise, every movement, and every meal becomes part of a greater harmony,” says Roglieri. “It’s an invitation to reconnect with yourself and the world, surrounded by the exceptional elements that define Crystal.”
