Seabourn Quest Resumes Sailing After Extensive Renovations
Seabourn Quest has completed dry dock with the most extensive interior renovations in Seabourn‘s history. Enhancements touch almost every guest-facing area of the ship, including public spaces, restaurants, the spa, and passenger suites. Work also included updates to crew accommodations and amenities.
The ship will continue its Mediterranean season through November 2026, operating seven-night cruises between Dubrovnik, Fusina (Venice), Istanbul, and Athens. Other destinations on the schedule include islands in Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, and Turkey.
Updated Public Spaces
A multi-purpose lounge space, The Club underwent one of the most major transformations on the ship. It now features a reconfigured layout with an updated bar design, new lighting, and a speakeasy-inspired atmosphere. In the space, passengers will be able to move more easily between the bar, lounge seating, and dance floor, enjoying live music and other social events.

Seabourn Square, the ship’s living room-style hub, now features a warmer atmosphere with new furniture and bistro-style seating. As well, the ship’s atrium, hallways, and stairways have new carpeting inspired by the movement of water.
Outside, the main pool deck boasts a new sound system, lighting, and refreshed teak deck.
Other updates include an refreshed salon with new finishes, lighting, and furnishings; new gym equipment in the fitness center; and new finishes, lighting, and display elements in the onboard shops.
Refreshed Restaurants
The Colonnade was refreshed with new flooring, carpeting, seating, and an updated service line to highlight live cooking. In the main dining room — called The Restaurant — new carpeting and drapery was installed.

Renewed Suites
Suites across all categories received new mattresses and wool carpeting. Penthouse and premium suites were also updated with new balcony furniture.
Improved Sustainability
Alongside Seabourn Quest‘s design updates, behind-the-scenes sustainability measures took place as well. About 215,000 square feet of carpet was replaced, but the original carpet was not sent to the landfill. Instead, the plan is to repurpose it into new carpet padding that the shipyard will reintegrate onboard for a future Seabourn renovation.
The new Cradle to Cradle Dansk Wilton wool carpets that were added to the suites are biodegradable, further supporting a closed-loop lifecycle approach.
Additionally, all mattresses were deconstructed for recycling by the shipyard, and lounge furnishings were donated to a local Italian non-profit organization.
