Azamara Cruises Details Multi-Day Land Tours For 2027
Small ship cruise brand Azamara Cruises has revealed its 2027 Overland Experiences collection, which allow guests to travel deeper into the destinations the ship visits — literally.
Designed to unlock exploration beyond the reach of the ship, Overland Experiences actually allow passengers to temporarily leave their cruise and embark on a multi-day adventure on land. That’s right — you essentially abandon your ship for a mini land tour right in the middle of the voyage. Then, you rejoin the ship days later at a future port.
But don’t worry, you won’t be stranded — each Overland Experience is fully coordinated by Azamara Cruises. They include premium accommodations, transportation (including flights, if required), guided touring, and select meals.
The 2027 lineup of Overland Experiences features 18 curated journeys across seven countries. It is introducing enhanced programming, expanded access to legendary destinations, and thoughtfully curated small-group experiences designed to help travelers genuinely connect with the places they’re visiting.

2027 Overland Experience highlights include:
Bora Bora Overwater Bungalow Escape (French Polynesia)
Embarking January 5, 2027, travelers sailing on the 18-night Pacific Islands Cruise to Oahu, Kauai & Bora Bora can enjoy a three-day, two-night stay at the luxurious Hotel Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts.
