Crystal Unveils Exclusive ‘Crystal on Broadway’ Cruise Featuring Tony-Winning Talent

Crystal Cruises announced that it will host a Crystal on Broadway cruise aboard Crystal Serenity on Oct. 31, 2025. The one-time sailing, round-trip from New York (Bayonne, NJ), will feature a workshop and other events about Ever After The Musical, adapted from the 1998 film.

Passengers will enjoy Broadway-style entertainment and select highlights from members of the musical’s creative team. The production re-imagines the Cinderella story with a modern heroine. While not yet on Broadway, the performers are established Broadway names, giving passengers rare access to their artistry and the show’s development.

Lyricist Marcy Heisler, composer Zina Goldrich and director Marlo Hunter will lead the workshop. Passengers will see excerpts performed live and hear insights from the team during a Q&A session. Heisler and Goldrich will also give a concert-style performance of their songs. Together, these events offer a rare look into the creative process before the show moves closer to Broadway.

Additionally, Broadway-star Sierra Boggess will appear in the workshop and headline a cabaret-style concert with the ship’s showband. Producer Kevin McCollum (RENT, Avenue Q, In the Heights) will share stories from his career.

The nine-day Crystal on Broadway cruise features scenic ports in New England and Canada with stops in Newport, Provincetown, Boston, Portland and Saint John.

Crystal is offering this sailing under its Zero Solo Supplements promotion, which allows certain categories to be booked without extra charge. The Double Guest Room with Ocean View, redesigned in 2023, starts at $6,000 for one occupant. A Single Guest Room with Ocean View is also available, with fares starting at $7,400.

The 740-passenger Crystal Serenity underwent a full redesign in 2023, adding new suites, dining and entertainment spaces.
