Crystal Expands Wellness Retreat Cruises With SANCTUM’s Debut at Sea
Crystal is expanding its Wellness at Sea program with a new Crystal Serenity voyage featuring Amsterdam-based wellness brand SANCTUM. The sailing marks the movement concept’s debut at sea.
The six-night cruise departs roundtrip from Lisbon on Oct. 11, 2026, and combines luxury cruising with a wellness program focused on movement, mindfulness, nutrition and longevity. Crystal said the retreat was added due to strong demand for wellness-focused programming..
SANCTUM is known for music-led sessions that combine high-intensity training, breathwork, meditation and somatic movement. They are designed as immersive group experiences using wireless headphones.

The retreat will be led by Crystal Wellness Ambassador and registered nutritionist Dalila Roglieri alongside longevity specialist Dr. Massimo Spattini, yoga and sound healing practitioner Eva Estlander, fitness and dance specialist Vanessa Schümmelfeder, and a dedicated SANCTUM guide.
Inside the Wellness Lineup
Passengers can participate in a schedule of wellness experiences throughout the sailing. Programming includes yoga, stretching classes, aerobics, sound baths, nutrition consultations and guided hiking excursions.

Roglieri will host one-on-one nutrition consultations focused on energy, vitality and healthy eating habits. She will also lead a blind tasting experience during the sea day. The session explores how sound, scent and touch can influence taste and the dining experience.
Dr. Spattini, a physician specializing in sports medicine and functional medicine, will headline the voyage’s longevity programming with a lecture titled “How to train for longevity.” The session will focus on exercise, cardiovascular health and healthy aging.
Furthermore, Estlander will lead restorative wellness sessions throughout the cruise. Her programming includes Hatha yoga, yin yoga, breathing exercises, nervous system reset classes and sound healing experiences designed to promote relaxation and recovery.
Finally, Schümmelfeder will oversee movement-focused classes such as aerobics, stretching and mobility sessions. The classes are designed to improve flexibility, endurance and body awareness for a range of fitness levels.
The itinerary also includes a cacao ceremony that combines ceremonial cacao with meditation, breathwork and intention-setting exercises.

From Lisbon to Lanzarote
The retreat embarks in Lisbon and cruises to Portimão, Casablanca, Agadir and Arrecife. Passengers can join optional excursions including Portugal’s Seven Hanging Valleys Trail hike, a Paradise Valley trekking experience near Agadir and a guided hike through Lanzarote’s Haría and Valley of a Thousand Palms.

The voyage takes place aboard the 740-passenger Crystal Serenity, which was refurbished in 2023. The ship features 402 ocean-view rooms and suites along with 10 dining venues. Crystal’s all-inclusive experience includes butler service in every suite and guest room, unlimited Wi-Fi, gratuities and access to onboard wellness facilities.
