Regent Seven Seas Details Dining on Seven Seas Prestige

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced new dining details for its upcoming ship, Seven Seas Prestige. The vessel will be 40 percent larger than the other ships in the fleet, yet accommodate just 10 percent more guests — creating a larger space-to-passenger ratio than ever before.

Solmar Terrace

Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose is a new al fresco venue, located aft of Compass Rose on deck five. Open from noon to 6 pm, the restaurant feature a laid-back yet elegant atmosphere, serving up a wide array of globally-inspired dishes like mezze-style appetizers, sushi, tapas, and yakitori.

The daytime menu will cater to a variety of tastes and moods, from fresh gazpacho and the sushi roll of the day to the varied yakitori grill menu. Asian-inspired small plates include Korean beef short rib, chicken or shrimp satay, teriyaki pork belly, king oyster mushroom, and Japanese broiled salmon. Desserts will include tres leches cake and crema Catalana.

Azure Menu

Regent Seven Seas has also revealed the menu for the previously-announced restaurant Azure, one of seven specialty restaurants on board. Inspired by the flavors, spices, and culinary traditions of the Mediterranean, Azure’s newly-revealed mezze-style menu draws influences from Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Designed for sharing, the small plates menu includes:

Croquetas di Carne, served with Piquillo Peppers
Gambas al Ajillo, Spanish Style Shrimp with Chili, Garlic, and Olive Oil
Chilled & Spiced Watermelon-Feta Salad

A Refreshed Prime 7 Menu

The line’s popular steakhouse, Prime 7, will be enhanced with fresh updates on classic recipes. Newly-inspired and reimagined dishes in Prime 7 will include:

Lobster Thermidor
Halibut Fish & Chips, served with Hot Yuzu Aioli and Steak Fries
Roasted Chicken Supreme, Spinach-Porcini Stuffing

The Ultimate Chocolate Dessert, 14-Layer Chocolate Mousse Cake with Drunken Cherries

New Prime 7 recipes will debut aboard Seven Seas Prestige before rolling out across the fleet.

Alongside the new Azure and Solmar Terrace, other favorite restaurants that will be found aboard the new ship include Compass Rose, Prime 7, Pacific Rim, Chartreuse, Sette Mari at La Veranda, and La Veranda. Casual venues will include the Pool Grill and Coffee Connection, and of course there’s always 24-hour room service available, too.

Seven Seas Prestige is scheduled to begin sailing this December.
