MSC Cruises Tweaks Winter 2027-2028 Schedule, Moves World-Class Ships

MSC Cruises is tweaking its cruise schedule for winter 2027-2028. The line announced today that it is adding to its deployments in the southern Caribbean and western Mediterranean, with two of its World-class ships moving to those regions.

MSC World Europa

Originally scheduled to sail in the Middle East, MSC World Europa will instead continue to offer seven-night itineraries in the western Mediterranean. The vessel will offer multiple embarkation ports for easy access to people across the region. The ship will call to destinations including Barcelona, Spain; Marseille, France; Genoa, Italy; Civitavecchia, Italy (the port for Rome); Messina, Italy; and Valletta, Malta.

MSC World Europa is the first ship in MSC’s mega World-class; it debuted in December 2022. The vessel offers a large variety of dining, entertainment, family spaces, and indoor and outdoor venues.

MSC World Asia

Originally scheduled to sail in the Mediterranean, MSC World Asia will shift to the southern Caribbean, operating seven and 14-night voyages with embarkation in Fort-de-France, Martinique; Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe; and Bridgetown, Barbados.

The itineraries visit some of the most beautiful destinations in the region, including Castries, St. Lucia; St. George’s, Grenada; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; St. John’s, Antigua; Basseterre, St. Kitts; Roseau, Dominica; and Kingstown, St. Vincent.

MSC World Asia is the upcoming third ship in MSC Cruises’ World class. As the line’s new flagship, the vessel will bring a variety of experiences to the southern Caribbean including the Cliffhanger over-water swing ride, the largest Venchi chocolate experience at sea, and expansive open-air areas perfect for warm-weather cruising.
