Princess Cruises Revamps Premier and Plus Packages with Extra Perks for 2026 Sailings

New pricing reflects added value, with more dining options and generous shore excursion credits

Princess Cruises is doubling down on guest feedback with significant updates to its Premier and Plus packages, adding more of what cruisers want and trimming the extras they don’t. Starting July 22, these enhanced packages will be available for 2026 sailings, reflecting the line’s renewed focus on flexibility, personalization, and value.

What’s New in the Princess Premier Package?

The Premier Package, which will now cost $100 per person per day (up from $90), brings additional value with the introduction of a shore excursion credit. Depending on the length of the voyage, guests can receive:

  • $100 credit for cruises 6 to 9 days
  • $200 credit for cruises 10 to 20 days
  • Up to $300 credit for cruises of 21 days or longer

The Premier Package still includes the robust benefits passengers have come to expect:

  • Unlimited Premier Beverage Package
  • Unlimited casual and specialty dining
  • Four-device Wi-Fi access
  • Waived OceanNow® and room service delivery fees
  • Unlimited digital professional photos
  • Reserved seating for theatrical shows
  • Daily crew appreciation

For guests sailing on the new Sphere-class ships, Sun Princess and Star Princess, the Premier Package will be priced slightly higher at $105 per person per day.

Updates to the Princess Plus Package

The Plus Package also sees a modest price increase, from $60 to $65 per person per day ($70 on Sphere-class ships), and now includes two additional casual dining meals per voyage, bringing the total to four. The package continues to feature:

  • Plus Beverage Package
  • Single-device Wi-Fi
  • Waived OceanNow® and room service delivery fees
  • Daily crew appreciation

To make room for the more requested perks, Princess is phasing out lower-use amenities like premium desserts, juice bar access, Medallion shipping, fitness classes, and Princess Prizes.

Designed with Guests in Mind

“By thoughtfully evolving our packages, we’re ensuring they reflect what our guests truly desire,” said Alfredo Jimenez, Princess Cruises Vice President, Onboard Revenue. “More flexibility, enhanced culinary experiences, and opportunities to explore ashore, all the while retaining the exceptional benefits they’ve come to expect.”

These refreshed packages offer savings of 50% to 70% compared to purchasing components a la carte, making them a solid value proposition for frequent cruisers and new guests alike.

Princess Cruises says these changes are part of its broader commitment to designing cruise experiences around direct guest input, ensuring every sailing delivers on both comfort and customization.
