Silversea Reframes Fare Structure With Three-Tier “Luxury of Choice”

Silversea has revised its fare structure under a new program called Luxury of Choice, streamlining pricing into three tiers while keeping the line’s all-inclusive onboard experience intact. The new Silversea Luxury of Choice fares include All-Inclusive Plus, All-Inclusive, and Last-Minute options, designed to match different booking styles.

Three Ways to Cruise

All-Inclusive Plus is the most comprehensive tier. It includes a refundable deposit and protection under the brand’s Fare Guarantee Program, plus a shore-excursion credit on oceangoing voyages. For expedition cruises, inclusions extend to Zodiac tours, expert lectures, in-country flights, and pre- or post-cruise hotel nights where required.

The All-Inclusive fare applies to oceangoing voyages and features a nonrefundable deposit. At this level, excursions are purchased individually, either before departure or onboard.

The Last-Minute fare is available on select oceangoing and expedition voyages within five months of departure. It requires full, nonrefundable payment at the time of booking and offers what the line calls “favorable savings” for travelers willing to commit closer to departure.

Flexibility With Extras

Across all three tiers, travelers can add flights, hotel stays, transfers, and land programs through Silversea, or choose to arrange them independently. This flexibility allows passengers to build a door-to-door journey if they wish.

Silversea emphasizes that its onboard offering remains unchanged, describing it as one of the most comprehensive at sea. The company is also expanding ashore, with new categories of curated shore programs and multi-day City Stays that extend time in embarkation or debarkation cities.

The Luxury of Choice model does adjust what is bundled. Air, hotels, and transfers, previously included in certain fares, are now optional add-ons. Shore excursions are covered by a credit in All-Inclusive Plus on oceangoing voyages, while other tiers purchase them separately. Refundable deposits are limited to the top tier.

The Silversea Luxury of Choice fares aim to balance clarity with personalization, giving passengers the option of bundled benefits or à la carte planning. For advance planners, All-Inclusive Plus delivers the broadest coverage. For those who prefer to customize, All-Inclusive provides a base fare with à la carte choices. And for spontaneous travelers, Last-Minute fares introduce the possibility of discounted luxury while keeping the onboard experience consistent across the fleet.
