Silversea Sets Sail on 77-Day, 57-Port Grand South Pacific Voyage
Silver Cloud is off on its grand South Pacific adventure! The 17,400 gross ton Silversea ship has departed on its 77-night Grand South Pacific Expedition from Fremantle (Perth), Australia to Valparaiso, Chile.
The journey is scheduled to include 57 destinations in 11 countries, tracing Australia’s Kimberley coast before continuing through the South Pacific toward Easter Island and South America, arriving in Valparaiso on November 4, 2026.
Four Segments
There will be four main segments dividing the cruise. The sailing opens along the coast of western Australia as the ship traces along the coast from Fremantle to Darwin. The next segment is from Darwin to Lautoka, Fiji, which includes visits to destinations in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Vanuatu, among others.
The next segment, from Lautoka to Papeete, threads the ship through 14 destinations and four countries: Fiji, Tonga, the Cook Islands, and French Polynesia. The final segment spans 12 destinations as Silver Cloud heads to its final port of Valparaiso, visiting destinations including the Marquesas Islands, Pitcairn Island, Easter Island, and Robinson Crusoe Island.

Northern Territories (Finniss River Lodge, Darwin, Australia)
On September 6, travelers will spend a day at Finniss River Lodge, a 50,000-acre working cattle station in Australia’s Northern Territory. The day includes an all-wheel-drive exploration of the property’s paperbark groves and a helicopter flight over the surrounding wetlands, escarpments, and the Finniss River, concluding with a luncheon featuring regional seasonal fare.
Toki, A Hope for the Future (Easter Island, Chile)
On October 26, visitors will gather at Toki Rapa Nui, a cultural center on Easter Island founded to preserve Rapa Nui heritage. There, they’ll enjoy an afternoon that includes a concert by pianist Mahani Teave — founder of the Toki Music School — a visit to the moai at Tahai, and a performance of a traditional hoko warrior dance.
