Cunard Features Emmy-nominated Hugh Bonneville on Caribbean Voyage
Cunard is adding star power to its Caribbean lineup this fall, welcoming British actor Hugh Bonneville aboard Queen Elizabeth as a special guest Insight Speaker. The Emmy-nominated performer, best known for his roles in Downton Abbey and the Paddington films, joins the ship for a 12-night Eastern Caribbean cruise departing Miami on November 27.

As part of Cunard’s signature Insights program, Bonneville will offer guests a behind-the-scenes look at his acclaimed work in film, television and theater.
“There’s something uniquely timeless and romantic about traveling by sea, especially when the ship is as elegant as Queen Elizabeth,” Bonneville said. “I look forward to sharing a few stories, hopefully a laugh or two, and exploring the Caribbean with my fellow guests.”
Bonneville’s sailing highlights Cunard’s tradition of hosting celebrated personalities at sea. The cruise line’s Insights program has featured notable voices from literature, science, film and beyond, offering guests enriching experiences throughout their voyage.
This special voyage blends cultural exploration, luxury cruising and the charm of one of Britain’s most beloved actors for an experience uniquely Cunard.
The round-trip itinerary includes stops in Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Maarten and Tortola. Queen Elizabeth’s first Miami departure takes place October 16.
Cunard will also mark its 185th anniversary with a commemorative sailing aboard Queen Elizabeth on December 9, 2025 voyage. Maritime historian Bill Miller is scheduled to appear as a guest speaker during the voyage, offering historical context on Cunard’s legacy and passenger shipping history.
Queen Elizabeth’s Caribbean debut follows a successful Alaska season and continues with a series of regional sailings through early 2026. She recently underwent a refurbishment that includes refreshed public spaces, enhanced outdoor lounging areas and upgraded dining venues designed to connect guests with the ocean.
