Queen Elizabeth Makes Miami Maiden Call to Inaugurate First-Ever Caribbean Season

Cunard Line’s Queen Elizabeth has arrived in Miami for the first time, marking a new chapter in the British cruise line’s 185-year history. The 90,900-ton ship will homeport at PortMiami through April 2026, offering a full season of Caribbean voyages ranging from nine to 21 nights.
Built at Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard and named by Queen Elizabeth II in 2010, the 964-foot vessel recently underwent a transformative refit in Singapore. The refresh introduced redesigned venues including the Queens Room ballroom, Royal Court Theatre, and Commodore Club—now reimagined as the Abbey Road Listening Lounge, featuring curated music experiences and signature cocktails.
New Caribbean Holidays
Throughout the winter season, Queen Elizabeth will feature 120 exclusive theatrical performances, including the first-ever at-sea production of the Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away. Broadway and West End stars—such as Tony winner Sutton Foster—will headline select voyages, alongside guest lecturers including actor Hugh Bonneville and Olympic athletes.
Culinary highlights will include Karibe, a new restaurant concept inspired by Caribbean coastal cuisine, and “The Whispering Hour,” a social experience partnered with Whispering Angel wines. Passengers can enjoy tropical cocktails, live music, and sunset deck parties designed to celebrate the region’s culture.
Caribbean itineraries will visit destinations such as San Juan, Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados, Tortola, Montego Bay, and Cozumel. Following her Caribbean season, Queen Elizabeth will reposition to Seattle for summer 2026 Alaska cruises, continuing her North American residency.
