Celebrity Reflection to Add 13 New Experiences in 2027 Renovation
Celebrity Cruises has announced an extensive modernization for Celebrity Reflection, scheduled for early next year. The project will introduce 13 new experiences across the ship and follows the recent dry dock renovation of Celebrity Solstice, making Reflection the second ship in the Solstice-class fleet to receive many of Celebrity’s new restaurants, lounges and entertainment concepts. Like Solstice, Reflection will combine experiences introduced on the Edge Series with venues developed for the Solstice-class fleet.

Once complete in March 2027, Reflection will sail year-round from Fort Lauderdale on three-, four-, six- and eight-night Caribbean itineraries, including Key West, The Bahamas, Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Grand Cayman and Turks & Caicos.
Celebrity has not yet announced where the refurbishment will take place or when the ship will enter dry dock.
A New Look Under the Sun
The most dramatic changes are planned for Reflection’s outdoor decks, where Celebrity is creating two distinct experiences: the new Celebrity Pool Club and Sunset Park.
Around the main pool, Celebrity is introducing the new Celebrity Pool Club, restyling the area with expanded seating, shaded daybeds, dedicated bars and daily entertainment.
The Pool Club will also become home to two entirely new casual dining concepts. Orange Peel Bar & Grille and Tacos del Sol are new to Celebrity Cruises, with Reflection becoming the first ship in the fleet to debut both venues. Orange Peel Bar & Grille will serve smashburgers, grilled favorites and frozen cocktails, while Tacos del Sol will offer build-your-own tacos and Mexican-inspired dishes.
One of the first things that caught our attention in the renderings wasn’t a particular venue—it was the overall design.
Reflection‘s familiar white architecture appears largely unchanged, but the renderings introduce a noticeably warmer palette, with orange-striped cabanas, terracotta accents, woven textures and resort-style furnishings. Rather than simply adding new restaurants, Celebrity appears to be creating an entirely new visual identity for Reflection’s pool deck.
Further aft, Sunset Park offers a different experience. Celebrity says the new park-like space will feature lawn games, meditation sessions, outdoor movies, live music, private cabanas, Sunset Park Café and an expanded Sunset Bar overlooking the ship’s wake.
Solstice, which introduced Sunset Park earlier this year, replaced its original living lawn with artificial turf.
What’s New In Reflection
Celebrity says the modernization will introduce new experiences throughout Reflection, with updates spanning dining, entertainment, accommodations and public spaces.
At the center of the ship, Reflection will receive a new Grand Plaza, inspired by the social hub found aboard Celebrity’s Edge Series ships. The three-story venue will feature a centrally located Martini Bar, live entertainment and a suspended chandelier designed to become part of the experience.
Reflection will also gain Boulevard Lounge, Boulevard Bar and The Parlor. According to Celebrity, the venues will host everything from dueling pianos and karaoke to live music, board games, billiards and elevated comfort food.
Dining is also expanding with Trattoria Rossa, Fine Cut Steakhouse and Bora, the Mediterranean-inspired rooftop restaurant that recently debuted aboard Celebrity Xcel.
The cruise line also announced enhancements to The Retreat, Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, Luminae, Blu, Camp at Sea and several additional public spaces.
Celebrity Reflection entered service in 2012 as the fifth and final Solstice-class ship.
The vessel measures 126,000 gross tons and accommodates 3,046 passengers at double occupancy. At 1,047 feet (319 meters) long, Reflection remains the largest ship in the Solstice class and introduced several enhancements over her sisters, including additional passenger accommodations and expanded public spaces.
The ship currently sails a variety of Caribbean, Mediterranean and transatlantic itineraries.
