Crystal Previews 2028 Season With Three-Ship Lineup and Inaugural Voyages for Crystal Grace

Crystal has announced its summer and fall 2028 itinerary slate, led by the debut of Crystal Grace, a new ship that will enter service in June before spending the season across the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Caribbean. The announcement covers sailings for all three Crystal vessels, with full itineraries releasing April 16 and bookings opening April 28, 2026.

Crystal Grace is scheduled to depart on her inaugural voyage June 11, 2028, from Civitavecchia. The itinerary calls in Sorrento, Igoumenitsa, Kotor, Split and Zadar before arriving in Trieste, then continuing to Venice to begin a Mediterranean summer season. Throughout July and August, the ship will sail across Italy, Croatia, Greece, France and Spain, with stops including Valencia and Monte Carlo.

The ship’s christening is planned for an overnight stay in Monte Carlo, during a voyage departing Barcelona on July 8. Crystal is offering five combination itineraries for guests who want to extend their time aboard, including two 34-night sailings with no repeated ports.

In September, Crystal Grace crosses west from Lisbon, stopping in the Azores before reaching Halifax and New York. Fall itineraries cover New England and Eastern Canada, with calls in Quebec City and Charlottetown. November sailings shift to warmer waters, departing Fort Lauderdale for Bermuda and the Caribbean, with calls in Antigua, St. Lucia, Aruba and Barbados.

Crystal Symphony: Americas to Asia

Crystal Symphony begins its summer season June 10 from Fort Lauderdale, transiting the Panama Canal and calling in Cartagena, Puerto Caldera, San Juan del Sur and Puerto Vallarta before working up the California coast to San Diego and San Francisco. The ship then moves into Alaska and British Columbia for peak summer, operating multiple departures from Vancouver and Seward with calls at Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Sitka and Wrangell, plus scenic cruising at Hubbard Glacier.

Two combination voyages are available during the Alaska season. In late September, Crystal Symphony crosses the International Date Line to begin a Japan and South Korea series, with port calls in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagasaki, Busan and Kanazawa.

The Pacific pivot is notable. Japan has emerged as one of the most in-demand cruise destinations among luxury travelers, and Crystal is positioning Symphony to capture that demand heading into fall, when Alaska traffic thins and Asia interest typically rises.

Crystal Serenity: Europe to the Arctic

Crystal Serenity opens her season May 5 in Europe, sailing from the Iberian Peninsula into the Mediterranean with stops in Cádiz, Valencia, Monte Carlo, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Valletta and Piraeus. The ship then heads north through the British Isles and Norway before crossing above the Arctic Circle to Honningsvag.

From there, Serenity’s itinerary includes Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, with consecutive calls in Reykjavik, Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm. Two combination cruises are available during this stretch. Late summer voyages trace Northern Europe before the ship returns south through Western Europe, calling in La Goulette, Cagliari, Ajaccio, Marseille, Palamós and Barcelona. The season closes with a transatlantic crossing and additional sailings in warmer climates.

What Travelers Should Know

Crystal is structuring much of the 2028 season around combination sailings, giving passengers the option to string multiple voyages together into longer journeys without repeating ports. That design choice is consistent with the line’s positioning at the upper end of the luxury segment, where longer sailings and expedition-style depth tend to attract its core clientele.

Mario Parodi, vice president of itinerary planning and port and fuel operations for Crystal, said the 2028 voyages are designed to offer guests deeper exploration across some of the most beautiful regions in the world, with each ship spending the season in a dedicated region through carefully designed itineraries.

Full itinerary details go live April 16. Booking opens April 28, 2026.
